"The UK's premier blues & roots act" John Clarke, The Times

“Good time blues at its very best, do not miss these guys!” Lionel Ross, Blues in Britain Magazine
"One of the nation's finest bands in ANY genre. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face.” Grahame Rhodes, Blues in the Northwest. “If you are looking for an evening of superb entertainment, plus an optional full body workout, you must go and see these guys whenever you can” Abigail de Munnik, Cumbrian Press online

“This is a band with a well-earned reputation for their unfailing ability to put on a great performance, with warmth and humour exuding from every pore. In short, they are an absolute delight”. Ian Ross, Darlington R&B Festival

Firm favourites on the blues & jump-jive scenes, The Cadillac Kings feature five of the UK's top blues and roots musicians. Fast approaching their fifteenth anniversary, the band has also signalled their strongest ever line-up, featuring two of the UK's very best instrumentalists – Tim Penn, pianist, accordionist & professor of all things New Orleans, Mal Barclay, brilliant west coast stylist, slide guitar, Mike Thomas, vocals, harmonica, lead guitar, Roy Webber, drums, vocals, Paul Cuff, double bass.

Inspired by the sounds and styles of the ‘40s & ‘50s with a distinctly modern take lyric-wise, this is a band with a reputation for wowing their audiences, from intimate clubs to major festivals, from theatres to dance-halls, the length & breadth of the UK & Europe, from the Canaries to the Arctic Circle!

Since their formation in 2000 the band has shared stages with blues & roots acts such as John Mayall, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Rod Piazza, Lazy Lester, Magic Slim, Lil' Ed & His Blues Imperials, Louisiana Red, Larry Garner, Nappy Brown, Sherman Robertson, Little Feat & Delbert McLinton to name but a few!

Along the way the band has picked up numerous awards including The Times’ best blues cd of the year 2004 for ‘Highway 17’ (33WM131) and in 2009 Canada’s ‘Real Blues’ Magazine's award for the best UK blues act & cd for ‘Trouble in Store’ (33WM145). Their 2012 release “Gonna Tell Your Momma” was recorded 100% live in Norway and has had rave reviews in every magazine from ‘Blues in Britain’ to ‘Folk Roots’, from ‘Blues Blast USA’ to ‘Blues News Norway’!

Their new CD ‘The Secret of my Success’ has just become Proper Music’s top selling blues disc, and has won praise from Paul Jones, who has played tracks on his radio show. Stuart Coleman said “Just finished checking out the new Cadillac Kings CD. Some fine musicianship throughout... delivered with authority and panache. Love the shuffles, in particular “The Secret of My Success”, which really cooks.”

The critics said:

"Wonderful stuff" Blues & Rhythm magazine/"A five star release - Highly recommended" Vintage Rock magazine/"This is a majestic collection" Now Dig This magazine/"Their best yet, heartily recommended" Red Lick Reviews/"All blues & R&B bases are given a new lease of life" Proper Music/"A white-knuckle ride" Phil the Quill's blues blog

Dale Storr is the leading exponent of the New Orleans piano in the UK who guides you on a journey featuring the legendary James Booker.

Dale immersed himself in the styles of his heroes - Professor Longhair, Dr.John, Allen Toussaint, Tuts Washington and James Booker. Although he himself would down-play it, Dale has encompassed much of Booker's music and style in his own playing.

In March of 2006, Dale's passion for the music saw him perform his debut theatre gig as a soloist, concentrating on the piano styles of his influences. The success of that performance resulted in more dates and he has not looked back, playing anything from a classically influenced minuet, a Latin rhumba, a back o' town junker blues to a frenzied boogie woogie.

He has been nominated in the top three of the European Blues Awards in The Best Musical Performance Category. His latest album will be available at this gig.

Singer song-writer, multi instrumentalist, One-Man-Band, Big Band, Band  leader, composer, producer  and arranger, Eddie Martin is amongst the most versatile, creative and just plain hard-working musicians around. He is as likely to be found playing or recording solo, or fronting his blues-rock trio and his new 50s inspired outfit “The 58s”, as he is as band leader to his Big Blues Band or, most recently, his “World Blues Orchestra“ Big Red Radio.
